So, today was the first day that I really took the new P5 out and rode it in anger. Before this I have been on the P4 in the buildup to my race.
That is one INCREDIBLE piece of technology!
I really want to thank you and the team for your time and effort. I think you have a great business. I always feel at home in your store, although my wife has officially banned me from come in for a while…understandably J.
Well wishes for 2016!
Just thought that I’d share how my Cervelo S2 has helped me improve. The bike has been a dream to ride on ever since I took it for its first ride the week after I bought it. The way the bike feels on a smooth road is beyond smooth. When I took it to the hills, its light weight and aero profiles made me climb faster by nearly 10 minutes! Needless to say on the descent it felt smooth on the corners – the bike turns in and out of corners very well, almost as if it was tied to the apex of the road!
Just got my new MTN Qhubeka , S5 Di 2, – full package—- here in Singapore from Bike n Bites, great service and an absolute pleasure dealing with them.
Let me just say that cycling has changed for me ! Even though I have only been riding for 2 years now.
What a bike ! super smooth, the handling is phenomenal and I have felt a significant difference in less output at higher speeds, big time.
As a newbie cyclist I was referred by a good friend to bikes n bites to get my 2nd hand 2007 trek madone fitted properly as it had been causing me some pain on long rides. I was really impressed with the treatment I got from Paul and the team, the fit was great and I was instantly pushing another 2-3km/h without any pain. Several months later when the cycling bug had taken a grip and I wanted to upgrade to a new bike, I had no reservation about speaking to the team at bikes n bites for advice. I was set on a cervelo s5 and I’d heard buying a new bike in Singapore was expensive and would be better off importing it from overseas, after some research I realized there wasn’t much in it and having the reassurance of the great aftercare offered by the team at bnb was well worth the extra few percent. Oh and the s5 is awesome by the way.
I first discovered Bikes N Bites when a friend referred me to Paul and the team to get properly fitted on my road bike. I had purchased a Trek Madone – my first bike in over 20 years – in Australia in 2014 and the bike shop I purchased it from didn’t properly fit me on the bike.
Paul and his team did a very thorough job fitting me on the bike and honestly I think it was the best ~$150 I’ve ever spent! I was a lot more comfortable on the bike after the fitting and more importantly…I was faster! (more…)
I’ve been a customer of Paul and the team at BikesnBites for about 3 years now. I first approached them due to a warranty replacement for my Cervelo R3, another dealer had been really unhelpful so I wasn’t optimistic when I spoke to Paul. Within minutes Paul had reassured me that the issue was covered by Cervelo, was in contact with them and quickly ordered me a replacement. While this was arriving he kept in contact and when it was clear that there was a shortage of R3s in my size offered me an R5 at a really attractive price. He then rebuilt the bike and handed it over.
Since then I’ve used BikesnBites for servicing and the quality of workmanship from the mechanics has been great and I couldn’t be happier. (more…)
Paul I finished 3rd for the sea games selections and shaved some good 20mins since the last year. Will be reserve for the upcoming games. Thanks for all the help with the bike and servicing. I had a great race!
S3 gives me the confidence to train harder because it’s just about the fastest bike out there and I felt that I needed to do it justice too
I had been exploring the option of getting new bike. Numerous articles were read, I tried to find reason and rationale “benefits of upgrading to a carbon bike” “Aluminium vs. carbon” etc etc were among the numerous other phrases were keyed into my Google search box in hopes of finding reason.
The resulting articles and opinions, some by hobbyist some by professionals pointed to the same thing. ‘A better bike (i.e. well built carbon) will benefit a good (experienced) rider; an amateur might not be able to tell the difference’. (more…)
