Initially conceived to celebrate Passoni's thirtieth anniversary, the Vinci immediately established itself as an icon of elegance, performance and innovation. Its timeless nature and the appreciation of enthusiasts have pushed us to make it evolve, giving life to the new Vinci V2: a perfect balance of tradition and modernity, craftsmanship and advanced technology.
This new version draws inspiration and know-how from two emblematic models of our history: the Passoni Mito, with its refined titanium lugs combined with carbon tubes, and the XXTi, created to celebrate the company's twentieth anniversary. The Vinci V2 is the perfect synthesis of these two construction philosophies, enhancing the mix of noble materials that has always characterized Passoni's DNA.
The lower part of the frame follows our unmistakable tradition: double and triple butted grade 9 titanium tubes to ensure rigidity and reactivity, with grade 5 components, machined from solid and machined with the utmost precision in our workshop. The upper part, on the other hand, adopts the proven Carbo-Titanium, a composite material already appreciated in other models in our range, which combines the lightness and reactivity of carbon with the extraordinary vibration damping capabilities offered by titanium filaments.
The essence of the Vinci V2 lies precisely in this fusion of seemingly distant, yet extraordinarily complementary elements. The result is a frame that offers the maximum in terms of performance, comfort and durability over time, ideal for those who seek the best without compromise. Like every Passoni, the Vinci V2 is available both in standard sizes, based on our optimized geometries, and completely custom, for a riding experience perfectly calibrated to the needs of each cyclist. Every detail is taken care of with the utmost attention, making each example a unique and timeless work of art.
Frame Specification
Tubes:
Titanium grade 9 (3Al / 2.5V) with different thicknesses, Carbo-Titanium tubes, Passoni Project, for seat tube and top tube. Titanium grade 5 (6Al / 4V) for head tube, bottom bracket shell and CNC dropouts.
Front triangle:
Carbon-titanium horizontal tube Ø 35mm, carbon-titanium seat tube Ø 35mm, titanium down tube Ø 42mm.
Rear triangle:
Aero Carbo-Titanium Seatstays Ø 21x24mm, Titanium Chainstays 21 x 27 mm.
Bottom Bracket Shell:
Grade 5 Titanium, CNC machined, Passoni logo engraved and frame code, T47.
Steering:
Integrated conical Ø 56mm, CNC machined, bearings Ø 1”1/8 upper – 1”1/2 lower.
Dropouts:
CNC machined grade 5 titanium, Ergal insert for disc brake thru axle support.
Seatpost:
Traditional - Passoni.
Fork:
Deda EDG Ø 56 mm, 100 x 12 custom thru axle.
