Crafted with an advanced multi-stage forming process, the 52ASA brings the same arm-hugging benefits of our iconic shaped extensions, all at a more affordable price.

The core innovation behind both the ASC and ASA series is simple: shift the extension sideways to seamlessly align with your arm’s natural position, while keeping a 22.2mm mounting area to stay compatible with most standard aerobars.

With the 52ASA, we’re setting a new standard for “best value shaped extension” – a bold step in our ongoing mission to deliver high-performance solutions for riders of all levels.

Performance

The sole purpose of extensions is to provide a comfortable position for the riders hands relative to the armrests. They enhance performance by allowing the rider to relax into their optimal position. Which is why we provide different fit options so each rider can chase their best performance.

Fit Data

The 52° grip angle is engineered to deliver optimal wrist support, ensuring comfort for a wide range of riders. Plus, with two length options, it caters to different body types for the perfect fit.

The 52 ASA offer a 16mm lateral shift per side.  This allows the rider to get their hands narrower or wider without tilting the extensions so much that the shifters touch.

Of course we didn't forget the importance of aerodynamics - adding a Kamm shaping to the rise section

Lastly we added ergonomic shaped end caps making the hand grip more comfortable.

Origin

Recent Trends in aerobar fit have been towards higher hand positions, so we've increased the rise compared to previous generation extensions. We have focused on the most popular angles from our previous range and added the 26a as a multi position option.

Tech Guide

Profile Design extensions have a 22.2mm diameter in the clamping area.
They are designed for cables to be routed out the rear of the extensions so do not have cable exit holes.
